Manaslu 8,163 m, is the 8th highest mountain in the world that stands centrally isolated  in the Himalayas. The trek around the base camp of Manaslu Peak,  is probably one of the least explored trekking regions in Nepal during the springs.

Manaslu Circuit trek not only caters  exceptional views of diverse landscapes throughout it also offers an opportunity to tread along low and elevated trails that have abundant of floral and faunal biodiversity and wide cultural spectrum. To be precise the Tibetan culture blended so well with Nepalese ethnical tribes is a noteworthy exploration during Manaslu Circuit Trek.

The series of ups and downs the trail that winds through the deep valleys of Budi Gandaki River and Dudh Khola eventually ends up taking you to the Base Camp of Manaslu Base Camp. While trekking down back to the lower elevation from the Base Camp, Larkya La Pass 5135 comes in between, which makes this trek a seriously challenging walking adventure in the Himalayan foothills of Nepal.

The final days of Manaslu Circuit Trek winds through the trails of globally renowned Annapurna Circuit Trek to Besisahar, where the trek ends.

  • Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

    As you fly into Kathmandu, the views of snow-capped mountain peaks greet you. A representative and driver from our office will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. The representative will help you check into your designated hotel. At the hotel you will be briefed about your daily activities.

  • Day 02: Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu

    Today, we will have a day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. We will visit three UNESCO Heritage Sites in Kathmandu. We will begin with Pashupatinath. The largest Hindu shrine in Kathmandu is worthwhile visiting to experience the Hindu culture and to explore around the historic and revered temple.

    Then we head off to explore Boudhanath. At Boudhanath, we could witness many Buddhist devotees mainly of Tibetan origin circumambulating the largest stupa in the country. Post lunch, we drive to the center of medieval Nepal, Kathmandu Durbar Square.

    Explore the magnificent monuments built during different eras at Kathmandu Durbar Square and also pay a visit to the home of Living Goddess, Kumari. Then you can stroll in the streets of Thamel while we arrange all your trekking documents (TIMS & National Park Permit) .

  • Day 03: Kathmandu to Soti Khola (710m)/ 8 - 9 hrs drive

    Early morning we begin the road journey on Prithivi Highway. Taking a deviation on the right before Malekhu on a dusty road, we arrive to Arughat Bazaar. An hour or so bumpy ride from Arughat brings us to Soti Khola.

  • Day 04: Soti Khola to Maccha Khola (900m)/ 6 - 7 hours trek

    Today the trek begins. We cross the bridge and then tread through lush Sal forests, before gaining height onto a ridgeline that situates just above the fierce rapids of Budhi Gandaki River.

    Traversing through rolling weaves of rocky mountains, cross passing two tropical waterfalls we arrive to Khursane. Via the Gurung hamlet Lapubesi, we at the end of the day's trekking arrive Machha Khola.

  • Day 05: Maccha Khola to Jagat (1410m)/ 6 - 7 hrs trek

    Series of ups and downs followed by crossing the Thado Khola, we reach to Khola Besi. Few more series of ascends and descends brings us to Tatopani (Hot Spring Showers).

    Climbing over the ridge over Tatopani, we cross the bridge over Budi Gandaki and chase the staircase that leads us Dobhan via landslide region. Crossing the bridge over Yaru Khola and trekking on the stony staircase, we drop down to the river and the final push up brings us to the village of Jagat.

  • Day 06: Jagat to Deng (1804m)/ 6 - 7 hrs trek

    Ascend over the rocky ridge to Salleri and drop down to Sirdibas. Tread along the widen valley to Ghatta Khola and then continue upstream trail to a suspension bridge to Philim, the popular Gurung Village in the region. Traversing via the leveled trails with millet fields we arrive to Ekle Bhatti. Cross the steep secluded gorge and descend to the grassy slopes to Budhi Gandaki. Finally the trek on the west bank of the river and then get into the east bank and trek through beautiful bamboo woodlands to Deng.

  • Day 07: Deng to Namrung (2630m)/ 6 - 7 hrs trek

    Exit out of Deng, cross Budi Gandaki River and then climb uphill to Rana 1910m. Then we tread the trail that stretches to Bhi and then up to Budhi Gandaki valley. Hiking through the lush forest, we also cross pass the mani walls and reach to Ghap.

    Savor the enchanting view of Shingri Himal from Prok and continue further to Namrung. We cross Budi Gandaki River several times, wind through lush vegetation and traverse through narrow gorges and then arrive to Namrung for the overnight stay.

  • Day 08: Namrung to Sama Gaon (3530m)/ 6 - 7 hours trek

    Enjoy the outstanding views of Siring, Himal Chuli and Ganesh Himal from the viewpoint at Namrung and resume the trek. Climb uphill through the forested trails to reach Lihi. Beyond Lihi the trail slides down and enters the Valley surrounded by Simnang Himal & Ganesh Himal .

    Cross passing Villages like Sho, Lho and Shyala we reach Sama Gaon. This part of the trek caters exceptional views of Mt. Manaslu Himal Chuli, Peak 29 and Ganesh Himal among others, offers great cultural spectrum and gives you an opportunity to explore Buddhist culture.

  • Day 09: Day Rest at Sama Gaon

    After almost a week trek a day rest to acclimatize before heading towards the elevated regions is a good idea. So we will have a day rest at Sama Gaon. On this day we will explore around the places so that we can acclimatize well.

  • Day 10: Sama Gaon to Samdo (3860m)/ 4 - 5 hours

    Descend to the Budhi Gandaki River, and then tread north to the bridge over the stream. The trail on the left beyond the stream stretches to Manaslu Base camp. However, we tread on Larkya la Trail and cross pass Kermo Kharka and Kani to Samdo.

  • Day 11: Rest day at Samdo

    Today we will one more rest day at Samdo for the acclimatization purpose. Enjoy the exploring elevated region in the vicinity and rest at Samdo.

  • Day 12: Samdo to Dharamsala/Larkya B. C. (4460m)/ 4 - 5 hours

    Continue trekking down the edge, cross a bridge over Budi Gandaki gain height to the ridgetop. Then cross the streams savoring the views of Larkya Glacier. Going around the valley of Salkha Khola to Stone Hut 4450m, which is not a lodge but a kind of shelter called Dharmshala, also known as Larke Phedi.

  • Day 13: Via Larkya la Pass (5160m) to Bimthang (3720m)/ 8 - 9 hours trek

    Enjoy a short uphill climb to Larkya Glaciers from where we can enjoy great views of Cho Danda and Larkya Peak. While treading up to the Pass top, we trek across glacial moraines.

    The final section to the Pass acme is much more steeper. From the pass top, the enthralling views of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Kangguru and the huge Annapurna II is wonderful. From the pass walking along the low pastures trail to Bhimtang. The trek caters the overwhelming view of Mt. Manaslu.

  • Day 14: Bimthang to Tilje (2300m)/ 5 - 6 hrs trek

    From today onwards we trek along the world's famous Round Annapurna Circuit trail and arrive to Tilje after 5-6 hrs trek

  • Day 15: Tilje to Tal (1700m)/ 5 - 6 hrs trek

    The trek on Annapurna Circuit trail continues and at the end of day's trek we arrive to Tal.

  • Day 16: Tal to Syange (1080m)/ 6 - 7 hrs trek

    The final day of the trek winds through the trails of Marsyangdi Valley and arrive at Syange, where we get stay in a local lodge for the night.

  • Day 17: Syange to Kathmandu / drive

    Driving along the mishmash road, we arrive to Dumre (a highway town) via Besisahar. The drive from Besisahar to Kathmandu goes along the twisted Prithivi Highway to Kathmandu.

  • Day 18: Depart Kathmandu

    Our representative will drive you to the airport for your flight home.
